Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS)

Tunisian crochet blends knit-like texture with crochet speed. The simple stitch is the foundation — a forward pass to pick up loops, and a return pass to work them off.

Steps

  1. Forward pass: insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop. Leave loops on the hook across the row.
  2. Return pass: yarn over, pull through 1; then yarn over, pull through 2 repeatedly across.
  4. Repeat for subsequent rows. Keep edges neat by working under both edge loops.
