Puff Stitch (puff)

Squishy and textured. The classic puff is made by pulling up multiple long loops in the same place, then closing them together.

Steps (5-loop puff baseline)

  1. YO, insert hook into stitch, pull up a long loop (keep it tall).
  2. Repeat the previous step 4 more times (5 long loops + the original loop).
  4. YO and pull through all long loops; ch 1 to lock (unless pattern says otherwise).
Adjust “puffiness” by changing how many long loops you pull up (3–7). Taller loops = puffier.
