Slip Stitch (sl st)

The slip stitch is the flattest stitch in crochet. Use it to join rounds, travel across stitches without adding height, or create surface details.

How to

  1. Insert hook where you want to join or move to.
  2. Yarn over, pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook.
  3. Repeat to “walk” across stitches without adding height.
